Befriend Animal
You gain an animal companion.
- Prerequisites:
- Knowledge (nature) 3 ranks, able to use speak with animals (as a spell or spell-like ability).
- Benefit:
- You can befriend an animal to act as a companion (see the Nature Bond ability in the druid class description).
Your effective druid level is equal to the sum of all of your caster levels, or one-half your character level (whichever is higher). (Only spellcasting classes that give you access to speak with animals count for caster levels in the above calculations.)
You can choose any animal companion that is available in your campaign. - Special:
- If your ability to speak with animals is limited to a certain type of animal, then your animal companion must be of this type.
