Dungeons & Dragons Home Rules

The original Dungeons & Dragons game was my first experience with roleplaying (the old Basic Set), and remains one of my favorite game systems to date. It is simpler than AD&D (Advanced D&D), but therefore more flexible in many ways.

This page features some new rules that I have created over the years as "expansions" to the game. I believe they are playable; some I have put a great deal of thought into them over the years, and have revised some of them many times. Please note, however, that they were originally for my own use, so they occasionally make reference to sources other than the standard rule books.
