Most commonly found around gnomish communities, a werebadger is generally friendly, unless it perceives a threat to itself, its family, or its home, in which case it becomes a ferocious opponent.

Werebadgers in gnome form tend to be stout, well-muscled, and hairy. They often have messy brown or black hair, sometimes with white streaks.

Combat

Werebadgers fight just as badgers do in animal form. In humanoid form, they favor the shortsword and light crossbow. In hybrid form, they tend to prefer using their claws, though they often keep their shortswords available as well.

Alternate Form (Su):
A werebadger can assume the form of a badger or a badger-humanoid hybrid.
Badger Empathy (Ex):
Communicate with badgers and dire badgers, and +4 racial bonus on Charisma-based checks against badgers and dire badgers.
Curse of Lycanthropy (Su):
Any humanoid or giant hit by a werebadger
