Just realized Ember hadn't been mentioned in 20 pages. Went back and inserted a few references. It was sort of tricky. Ember is pretty unobtrusive, in the woods.
... is it weirder than not having him mentioned? The difficulty is that, while Ember is a character, of sorts, he is really an extension of Noldar, sort of a part of him. Making a point of mentioning Ember sometimes feels a bit like making a point of mentioning Noldar's left shoulder blade.
Hm...I don't really know what to say, as evidenced by my NOT saying anything for quite a while, but it occurs to me that you might be waiting for a response here.
It's really hard to say which is weirder. As someone who is particularly familiar with your work, and Noldar specifically, I think I am in the position of assuming he's there whether he's mentioned or not. An outside opinion may be more beneficial in this particular instance.
