Week of 2013/04/29

Hello, FlyBuddies! (presuming anybody is actually reading this forum)

It is the last week of April, and for Monday and Tuesday, at least, we are in Zone 5 - the Living Room. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to spend 15 minutes getting yours cleaner. This message will NOT self-destruct, because that would just make a mess.

If there is an area that is bugging you more than your living room, I will write you a permission slip to spend your 15 minutes somewhere else.

Please post about what you did, so the rest of us can be encouraged and inspired!

I pretty much always start off in the kitchen, because I REALLY want the place in which I prepare food clean. This morning, I spent about half an hour in the kitchen. Per my usual morning routine, I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher (as much as it could be reloaded. Then, I washed out a bucket that had icky water sitting in it too long, and cleaned the sink. I started washing pots and pans from the counter, cleaning the counter as I went. I got my far-right counter tidied up and wiped, and the stove top, as well.

I doubt I'll make too much more progress, other than to finish up the glass pans I used to cook the chicken for last night's dinner, and hopefully get the dinner dishes for tonight squared away promptly.

Later, I plan to spend 15 minutes in the living room. I'll update later, possibly with pictures! (We'll see). How is everybody else's day going?

My plan for today is to get 15 minutes done in the living room, then to proceed with the suggested routine for the kitchen. 15 minutes would make SUCH a difference!

Sorry, I'm late in posting this.

I was very happy with how my living room looked after my time in that particular zone. I even cleaned under the couches (wow, that gets yucky in a hurry."

My seven-year-old son remarked when he got home from school, "It's so clean in here!"
