Just thought I'd post my feedback on the first ten chapters. So far, it seems that it could use a minor editing pass (found a missing closing quote, a typo, and a sentence ending with "as", which I think may not be entirely grammatically correct. Not a bad quirk rate, for 10 chapters, though! (:
I'm a bit curious about the blend of modern-sounding and archaic-sounding speech. Is there any background on this?
I also noted that some of the chapter endings seem a smidge abrupt. How did you decide what constitutes a chapter?
