Clumsy
When you fail at something, you tend to fail spectacularly.
- Effect:
- A natural 1 (the d20 comes up 1) on a skill check or ability check is always a failure for you. In addition, if you fail a skill check by 10 or more, you somehow ruin whatever it is you were attempting. The DM should determine an appropriate consequence for such failure. For example:
- If you fail a Craft check by 10 or more, you lose all of your raw materials, and have to pay the full original raw material cost again.
- If you fail a Diplomacy check by 10 or more, you offend the NPC, whose attitude shifts one category toward hostile.
