Prizm

This is my character in a Super Hero-ish roleplaying game I'm involved with, called VOX (Victims Of the X-virus). In this game, each player plays himself (or her-) after contracting (and surviving!) the X-virus, and has been turned into a superhero. This figure is a (slightly exaggerated) representation of what I look like in that world.

At first, I hadn't developed any sort of hero costume for my character, so I just went around in normal clothing. After a while, I started wearing a trenchcoat to the gaming sessions on a fairly regular basis, so I had my character start wearing it for super-heroing.

The lightsaber I picked up during one of our adventures. I'm not the only one who has one, though! 8^)

Prizm's primary super power is something called Gem Powers. In the game system that this game is based on, Gem Powers allow the hero to activate various different abilities based on the types of gemstones in his possession. Each gem provides a power based on its nature, and can only be used a certain number of times.

This suit of 'armor' is based on the fact that Diamonds allow my character to become invulnerable. So, with that in mind, my character has created a suit of armor made out of Diamond which, since it's always close to him, he can activate on a moment's notice. So not only does it provide physical protection on its own, but he can channel his Gem Powers through it, making him totally invulnerable. (And since there's a large amount of material, he can use it often without worrying about using it up.)
