I'll check to see if he'll put up the MUSH, in case you folks want to meet without us, but that does mean that no one will be available to troubleshoot, if there are connection problems.
Arazyr is going to put the MUSH up, but, as mentioned previously, if it turns out to be "one of those nights", I'm afraid there won't be anybody available to troubleshoot. Also, Coyote emailed in, and will not be on tonight, in any case, as he has a work-related function to attend, this evening.
Our apologies for our non-appearance. Something came up (plus the laptop is STILL in the shop.) And we neglected to email or call, for which we also apologize. It was all over before we thought to. Stressful weekend and beginning of the week led to thinking of Tuesday as Monday... See you all next week...

The good news: If I connect the MUSH server (i.e. my Powerbook) directly to our DSL modem, people can connect to the MUSH with no problems. This means that the problem isn't with our internet connection in general, but our router.
The bad news: Having my Powerbook hogging the DSL means juujika can't connect to the internet. (We have managed a way for her to connect to the MUSH at least, though.)
More bad news: We really don't have room in our budget to get a new router.
More good news: Ragnvard has volunteered to set up a server to host the MUSH, for the time being at least. He and I will hammer out the details, and hopefully have something set up by next week's session.

Ragnvard and I have been working on getting the MUSH transferred to his server, but we hit a database snag, and I haven't had time to work on it since late last week. We can probably have a bare-bones, brand-new MUSH running tonight, but people will have to create new temporary MUSH characters.
My intention is for the hostname (infinitemush.dyndns.org) to be transferred to his server, so people should be able to just connect as normal, but I'll post here as things progress.

Ragnvard has done (appropriately) heroic work getting the MUSH up and running on his own server. The MUSH now works, and some of us can even log in. 8^)
This means, there should actually be a Virtual VOX session next week. (19 Aug 2008) There's just one caveat: We will need to reset everyone's passwords.
On Tuesday evening, IM me (via whatever service you prefer -- I'll try to make sure I'm on AIM, ICQ, YM, gtalk and facebook) or email me, when you are ready to connect, and I will reset your password to something generic. You will then be able to log in and change it to whatever you'd prefer.
The connection information for the mush *HAS NOT CHANGED*. You can use your existing setups to log in. (Well, except for me, juu, and Ragnvard himself, but we already know that. 8^)
Hostname: infinitemush.dyndns.org
Port: 7777
If anybody has any trouble connecting on Tuesday, post here!

He'll try to make sure the server is up, but there's a chance there could be a problem and it won't be able to be remedied. There have been problems the past two weeks, so that is not an impossibility.

I formatted my computer a couple weeks ago and lost the Wyrmnet program. Soub sent me a link via email, but it doesn't seem to work.
