I am, it would seem, a very bad blogger. Despite the fact that I've been eying the computer, wishing I could find time to blog, for weeks, it still came as a little bit of a shock to me that it has been more than 4 weeks since I've written anything.
Arazyr is now doing independent contracting, from home, though we have yet to receive the first check. He also hasn't been getting in a full 40 hours a week, but hopefully, it will be enough. We're also praying that the work is steady, for long enough, and at the same time, thanking God that we're even doing as well as we think we are - we have friends that are probably going to have to give up their house.
As tough as things are, though, I really do believe that God will provide. I've been working on getting started on classes toward my next degree/career. I laughed when I saw how much FAFSA thinks we can afford to put toward classes for me. The problem, of course, is that they base everything on what you made last year, and if we were sure we'd have that much coming in again, we might actually be able to swing that amount - but our income for this year is rather uncertain, though it almost certainly will not be as much. In any case, it was a bit late to apply for financial aid for the summer term, and I had decided that I really wanted to start with at least one class, as soon as possible. I figured out how much I'd need, and while I was in the midst of trying to figure out where it would come from, I got an escrow refund check in the mail, for just a bit more than I needed. It bolsters my faith, and renews my hope that we'll make it, somehow.
