Scary movies

I like scary movies that aren't gory--The Others, The Innocents, The Haunting, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, and for those of us with children (and maybe some without) do NOT watch "The Orphanage," unless you enjoy crying. I realize that I can be an overly emotional fool-it is, after all, just a movie-but oh my....

P.S.,

I'm also scared of the dark.

Stuff.

My cucumbers, beets, carrots, melons and beans are fighting a battle that they simply cannot win. The match they have met?

Acorn squash.

I swear, during an especially rainy time I went from having a nice little path one day to having el-zilcho the next. I'm half afraid that I'll wake in the morning to tiny green tendrils around my face and hear "Feed me, Seymour."

And yet, I still have virtually no produce.

Ah, but that sounds defeatist. The truth is, I look at this year as kinda being the first pancake that gets thrown away; the next one will be better.

Domestic stuff.

I really love everything domestic.

In my fantasy world, Tim and I have a big farmhouse, six kids, and we raise goats and bees. And sugar beets, maybe. I don't know.

I could make my own candles!

I really miss my VoX friends.

I would like to come out on Friday.

Anyone wanna let me and the sweet Kenny-Ken-Kens stay with them for the weekend?

A very busy day.

Yesterday, I said phooey on housework (yeah, that's unusual) and just spent the day with the sweet Kenny-Kens.

In the morning, we went to the zoo, then I got really ambitious and Googs and I walked from our house, to the farmer's market, to the chocolate store, to Fire Arts (although that was an accident, I got lost, but Becky was pleased enough to see us, I think) and finally to the library. We were gone for hours, and it felt nice to get some exercise and to be out of the house.

Sometimes....

I just want to eat like a truckdriver.

Saturday was one of those days. We went to Allie's Cafe (yes, Sue & Mark, the one we all went to) and I had an AWESOME omelette with onions, potatoes & cheese. I wanted to make funny noises as I was eating the omelette. Perhaps, next time I meet those of you whom I know, I will demonstrate these funny noises.

The rest of you will never know.
